Unveiling a captivating journey through the soul of Japanese cuisine, Executive Chef Keisuke Uno presents Genten, Mikuni‘s new à la carte menu. Meaning “origin” in Japanese, Genten showcases Chef Uno’s heritage with a symphony of premium, hard-to-find ingredients sourced directly from Japan. Each dish is meticulously prepared using time-honoured techniques, promising an authentic and unforgettable dining experience.

Mikuni’s Genten menu invites you to experience the essence of Japanese cuisine. Freshness takes centre stage, with live Sushi and Teppanyaki stations offering a bounty of seasonal delights. Begin your journey with a curated selection of Assorted Sashimi, featuring seven exquisite seasonal pieces chosen by the chef. Light and refreshing Springtime flavours like Shogoin radish and ponzu complement the delicate seafood. For a truly decadent experience, don’t miss Mikuni’s Signature Hokkaido Sea Urchin, Snow Crab, and Scallop – a celebration of the finest ocean treasures.

The Teppanyaki station offers a captivating display of culinary artistry. A must-try is Chef Keisuke’s personal favorite – Japanese Tender Abalone. Hokkaido abalone, steamed whole in premium Akumochizake sake, is finished on the teppan for a touch of sear. The dish is then presented with a rich abalone liver sauce, creating a truly memorable experience.

Wagyu aficionados will delight in the dedicated section featuring a selection of premium cuts. The Shabu Shabu Hot Pot stars A5 Ohmi Sirloin, renowned for its exceptional marbling. Carefully sourced vegetables accompany the meat, all simmered in a house-made, flavorful bonito dashi broth served in an individual hot pot. This luxurious indulgence promises to tantalize your taste buds.
